I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the first Oculus Connect VR developer conference held on September 19th - 20th 2014, in Hollywood California. September 18th, 2014 : the night before

Mostly about meeting fellow VR developers at the pre-conference kick-off diner, rushing over to the Techcrunch VR meetup (West Hollywood), and then back for more drinks with VR developers in Jamiesons pub, Hollywood Blvd. Read this entry here.

September 19th, 2014 : Day 1 of the Oculus Connect conference
My first demo of the Samsung Gear VR dev kit, then later trying out the consumer version of the Samsung Gear VR, hanging out in Starbucks before registration and greeting Palmer Luckey, attending my first lecture ("Human Visual System"), demoing one of my VR projects : 'Combat Helicopter VR' to fellow conference attendees. September 20th, 2014 : Day 2 of the Oculus Connect conference
Attending keynotes and lectures, trying out the STEM VR control system prototype, my experience with the Oculus 'Cresent Bay' internal prototype demo, the poolside party, meeting Palmer Luckey and John Carmack. Read this entry here.
